During a press briefing in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated that China strongly opposes any actions that escalate military tensions in the Middle East, particularly amidst the ongoing friction between the U.S. and Iran. Beijing emphasized that the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of Gulf nations must be sincerely respected by all parties involved.

Spokesperson Lin further stressed that the immediate priority is achieving a comprehensive ceasefire to prevent the further spread of hostilities. He called for the protection of both civilian and non-civilian infrastructure. This diplomatic reaction follows the UAE's report of new Iranian-led attacks—the first such breach since the April 8 ceasefire between Tehran and Washington. While Iran has dismissed these allegations as "baseless," China remains firm on its stance of de-escalation to ensure regional stability.
