Trump stated that while a deal could end the war and lift U.S. sanctions, a refusal from Tehran would result in airstrikes of "unprecedented intensity." Posting on his platform, Truth Social, on Wednesday, Trump remarked, "If Iran delivers on what has been negotiated, Operation Epic Fury will end."

The President outlined that under the proposed terms, the U.S. blockade on Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz would be lifted, ensuring free passage for all. However, Trump expressed uncertainty regarding whether Tehran would ultimately accept these conditions. Despite the aggressive rhetoric, there is a glimmer of diplomatic hope; the White House is reportedly close to signing a one-page Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Iran. This agreement aims to halt the current hostilities and establish a framework for future nuclear negotiations. Washington is currently awaiting a final response from Iran within the next 48 hours, marking the closest both nations have come to a resolution since the conflict began.
