In an interview with Iran’s Press TV yesterday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that the U.S. military presence in the Gulf is a "burden" that brings nothing but insecurity. He accused Washington of utilizing military supplies and logistics in Gulf countries to advance its "aggressive actions against Iran."

Baghaei emphasized that Iran harbors no animosity toward neighboring countries, asserting that any military actions taken on their territories were strictly for self-defense against U.S. and Israeli aggression. Despite these diplomatic assurances, the regional situation remains volatile. The United Arab Emirates reported that at least 15 missiles and several drones launched from Iran targeted its territory yesterday, including an attack on an oil facility in Fujairah. These conflicting reports highlight the deepening tensions in the Gulf.
