According to reports from the Haaretz newspaper, citing a UNDP official, less than one percent of the war debris has been cleared so far. Given the current pace and a severe shortage of heavy machinery, experts warn that the complete removal of rubble could take up to seven years. Palestinian families continue to wait in agony, unable to recover and provide a proper burial for their loved ones trapped beneath the concrete.

Furthermore, Gaza’s Ministry of Health reports that the 'ceasefire' agreement signed last October is being violated daily by Israeli forces, resulting in another 828 deaths and 2,342 injuries since then. The overall toll of the two-year offensive stands at over 72,000 lives lost and 172,000 injured, with nearly 90% of civilian infrastructure lying in ruins. The United Nations estimates that the total reconstruction cost will soar to approximately $70 billion, highlighting the unprecedented scale of the humanitarian and economic crisis.
