Through this initiative, Tehran has provided a specific roadmap to resolve all outstanding issues within the next 30 days. According to reports from news outlets Axios and Middle East Eye, Iran has signaled that it does not intend to further extend the temporary ceasefire and instead seeks a permanent and honorable resolution to the hostilities.

The core conditions of Iran’s 14-point plan include mutual guarantees that the United States and Iran will not attack one another, the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from areas adjacent to Iran, and the cessation of war on all fronts, including Lebanon. Additionally, Tehran has demanded the lifting of all international sanctions imposed on Iran and the immediate unfreezing of Iranian assets currently held in various countries across the globe.

A critical component of the proposal involves establishing a 'new arrangement' for the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran has called for the lifting of the U.S. naval blockade and requires an agreement to be reached within one month to make the strait fully operational again. International analysts believe that while this proposal indicates a major potential shift in Middle Eastern security dynamics, there remains deep uncertainty regarding how much of these rigorous conditions Washington and its allies will be willing to accept.
