Iran’s Armed Forces Ordered to Give "Final and Immediate" Response to Any Threat
The warning was issued on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in a statement marking the anniversary of the founding of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
General Abdollahi emphasized that Iran would not tolerate any "distorted narratives or false accounts" regarding its sovereignty or the current situation on the battlefield. He asserted that the nation's defense apparatus is fully prepared to safeguard its territorial integrity against any form of provocation.
In his statement, the commander highlighted Tehran’s strategic strength, claiming that repeated heavy missile and drone strikes have exhausted the forces of Israel and "terrorist America." He argued that this sustained military pressure is what ultimately forced the opposition to desperately call for a ceasefire.
"The IRGC and our defense forces are the pride of the Iranian nation," Abdollahi stated, adding that under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, the people, government, and military are more united than ever before.
General Abdollahi launched a scathing critique of the U.S. President, labeling him "deceptive and confused." He warned that Iran, acting from a position of strength, would not allow Washington to exploit the current situation.
Specifically addressing the recent events in the Strait of Hormuz, the General cautioned that any attempts to spread fabricated information or breach previous commitments would be met with an appropriate and decisive retaliation.
Military analysts suggest that the IRGC’s hardened stance is a calculated move to exert psychological pressure on the Trump administration, which enjoys direct support from various NATO-member states. By projecting an image of unwavering readiness and tactical success, Tehran aims to deter further escalations while maintaining its influence over critical maritime routes.
