Israeli Strikes Claim 8 Lives in Gaza Despite Ongoing ‘Ceasefire’
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the latest wave of attacks also left at least 29 others wounded. Since the ceasefire agreement was initiated last October, Israeli military actions have resulted in 765 fatalities and over 2,000 injuries across the enclave.
Since the onset of the conflict on October 7, 2023, the total death toll in Gaza has climbed to a staggering 72,344, with over 172,242 people injured. Health officials warn that many victims remain unaccounted for, buried under the vast remains of destroyed buildings. The persistent violations of the truce further exacerbate the dire humanitarian catastrophe facing the Palestinian people.
