President Xi Jinping Proposes 4-Point Plan for Middle East Peace

During a high-level meeting with Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed this Tuesday, President Xi Jinping outlined a comprehensive framework for regional security.

According to the state news agency Xinhua, the proposal emphasizes the core principles of "peaceful coexistence," "national sovereignty," and the "international rule of law." State broadcaster CCTV reported that Xi specifically called for the global community to "sincerely respect the sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity of Gulf countries." By highlighting the need for a synergy between security and development, Beijing aims to position itself as a key mediator in the ongoing Middle East crisis, advocating for a multilateral approach based on international law.
