Iran Stands by Lebanon: President Pezeshkian Slams Israeli Strikes as 'Deception'

In a stern post on X (formerly Twitter), Pezeshkian described the attacks as a dangerous sign of deception, warning that ongoing aggression renders any potential peace talks meaningless. He further sent a chilling warning to his adversaries, stating, "Our fingers are still on the trigger."

Adding to the diplomatic pressure, Iranian Parliament Speaker Baqer Qalibaf emphasized that Lebanon is an "inseparable part" of the ceasefire framework and a core ally within the 'Axis of Resistance.' These statements come in the wake of a devastating Israeli military campaign where nearly 100 targets were struck within just 10 minutes. The resulting violence has claimed 254 lives and left over a thousand injured in Lebanon. Iran has made it clear that such blatant disregard for international agreements will lead to severe consequences for the region.
