Iran Issues "Hit-List" Targeting 8 Strategic Bridges Across Middle East After Strike on B1 Bridge
Iran’s tallest under-construction infrastructure, the B1 bridge in Karaj, was partially destroyed in a US-Israeli airstrike this Friday, leaving 8 dead and 95 injured.
While President Donald Trump shared footage of the destruction, warning Tehran to "strike a deal or lose everything," Iran’s Fars News Agency swiftly released a retaliatory "hit-list."
The list includes Kuwait’s Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway, the UAE’s Sheikh Zayed and Al Maqta bridges, the King Fahd Causeway linking Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, and several strategic bridges in Jordan. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the attack as a sign of "moral defeat," asserting that destroying civilian infrastructure would not force a surrender. As both sides adopt a "tit-for-tat" strategy targeting vital infrastructure, military experts warn of a looming catastrophic impact on regional trade and mobility.
