According to maritime intelligence firm Windward, 16 vessels successfully navigated the strait this Wednesday, marking a three-day consecutive rise in traffic.

Reports indicate that these ships are utilizing the Larak Island route following direct coordination with Iranian authorities. Tehran has maintained that while the passage remains closed to "enemy entities," other nations can resume transit by adhering to new protocols and toll requirements. Although current figures remain significantly lower than the pre-war daily average of 130 vessels, the recent uptick signals a gradual stabilization of the energy corridor. As a vital artery for the world's oil and gas supply, any progress in securing safe passage through Hormuz is seen as a crucial step for global market stability.
