According to a special report by the British newspaper The Times, cited by Al Mayadeen, the strikes have resulted in the deaths of at least 13 U.S. service members and left over 300 others injured. This marks a historic escalation as it is the first time in decades that American forces are engaged in a direct military confrontation with a sovereign state power rather than regional militia groups. Preliminary assessments suggest that the financial cost of the destruction to military infrastructure has already reached approximately $1.5 billion.

The Iranian offensive has reportedly crippled several high-value strategic assets, including the sophisticated 'E-3 Sentry AWACS' radar aircraft stationed at the Prince Sultan Airbase in Saudi Arabia. Military analysts noted that Iran’s 'Shahed-136' loitering munitions successfully bypassed advanced U.S. air defense systems to strike sensitive targets with high precision. Furthermore, a radar installation valued at $1 billion in Qatar’s Umm Dahal area was confirmed to be completely destroyed. Other key facilities, including the Al-Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates, as well as bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and across the Persian Gulf, have also been confirmed as targets of the ongoing Iranian campaign.

A political-security source in Tehran stated that the current operations are part of a phased strategy to systematically dismantle enemy radar and defense networks to paralyze regional military capabilities. Iran has warned that its vast and technologically advanced missile arsenal is prepared to deliver even more severe blows if its strategic objectives are not met. As the intensity of the strikes is expected to increase, the Pentagon is reportedly scrambling to reinforce its remaining positions while grappling with the unprecedented scale of hardware loss and human casualties in what has become a direct and conventional regional war.
