According to a statement released by Iranian state media this Sunday (March 22), drones successfully targeted Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) near the Ben Gurion airbase in Tel Aviv. Simultaneously, Tehran claimed to have struck a US surveillance plane at Prince Sultan Airbase in Saudi Arabia.

While details of the damage remain unconfirmed, Iranian military spokesperson Ibrahim Zolfaghari issued a stern warning on state television. He asserted that the Strait of Hormuz remains under strict Iranian control and threatened total closure of the vital waterway if the US targets Iranian power plants. Zolfaghari further warned of retaliatory strikes on Israeli energy and IT infrastructure. As of now, neither Israel nor the United States has issued an official response to these claims.
