According to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Defense on Tuesday (March 10), their aerospace defense systems intercepted 8 out of 9 detected ballistic missiles. However, the onslaught included 35 suicide drones, 9 of which managed to bypass the defense perimeter and strike internal targets. This escalation resulted in 6 fatalities and 122 injuries. Official sources confirmed that the casualties include UAE nationals as well as expatriates from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Nepal.

Data from the defense ministry reveals that since the hostilities began, a total of 262 ballistic missiles and nearly 1,475 drones have been launched toward the UAE. While the UAE’s multi-layered defense system has successfully neutralized over 90% of these threats, the latest drone strikes caused significant damage. Among those receiving emergency medical care are nationals from Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, and the Philippines. In response to the persistent threat of 'Operation True Promise' style tactics, the UAE has placed its military on high alert, emphasizing its commitment to protecting its sovereign territory and its diverse population.
