At UNSC, Bahrain Condemns Iranian Attacks on Gulf Nations
Representing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Bahrain’s UN Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaiei described these strikes as "unjustified and heinous," calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities to restore regional stability.
Ambassador Al Rowaiei warned that Iran's actions pose a direct threat to regional security, specifically highlighting the threats to the Strait of Hormuz and attacks on oil tankers and energy infrastructure. He emphasized the urgent need to protect aerial and maritime routes to ensure global energy security. Accusing Iran of deliberately destabilizing the region, the Ambassador urged the international community to take decisive action to safeguard vital installations and maintain peace in the Middle East.
