During a press conference in Beijing, Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that military force is never a viable solution to the current crisis and warned that the world cannot revert to a "might is right" era of governance. He noted that the people of Iran do not support foreign-led "Color Revolutions" or external interference in their domestic leadership, stating that lasting peace can only be achieved through genuine diplomatic dialogue.

Furthermore, the Chinese Foreign Minister stressed the importance of respecting the national sovereignty of all countries, including Iran. He argued that the people of the Middle East are the true owners of their region and should be allowed to make independent decisions without external pressure. Wang Yi highlighted that armed conflicts only breed hatred and create further instability, urging all parties to return to the negotiating table to ensure collective security. To de-escalate the rising tensions, China has announced its intention to dispatch a special envoy to mediate and work toward long-term regional stability.
