During a press conference in Tehran on Monday (February 23), Baghaei dismissed rumors regarding a partial nuclear deal, stating that such claims lack any foundation. He emphasized that "surrender" does not exist in Iran’s political vocabulary and that protecting sovereignty has been the nation's primary goal for the last 47 years.

Baghaei also issued a stern warning to the European Union, stating that Iran would now view the military presence of EU nations in the Persian Gulf as "terrorist entities," warning of dire consequences. Regarding the upcoming talks scheduled for Thursday (February 26) in Geneva, he asserted that while Tehran seeks a meaningful result and is not looking to waste time, it will not accept unilateral demands. He further cautioned that Iran's armed forces remain on 24-hour high alert to deliver a "crushing response" to any US military provocation or deception.
