Narendra Modi Congratulates Tarique Rahman, Invites Him to Visit India

In his letter, Modi described the election victory as a reflection of the Bangladeshi people’s trust in Rahman’s leadership and their aspirations for peace, stability and prosperity. He expressed confidence that Bangladesh would reach new heights under his leadership.

Highlighting the deep historical and cultural ties between the two neighboring countries, Modi reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations. He emphasized cooperation in connectivity, trade, technology, energy, education, healthcare and cultural exchanges as key areas for future partnership.

The Indian Prime Minister also formally invited Tarique Rahman to visit India with his family at a mutually convenient time, stating that India looks forward to welcoming him warmly. Modi further wished continued progress and prosperity for the people of Bangladesh.
