In a massive provincial military operation over the last 48 hours, security sources have confirmed that 99 terrorists have been killed. However, 10 security personnel lost their lives while ensuring the protection of the region.

While the militants retreated in the face of the security forces' counter-offensive, they carried out a brutal attack on civilians in the Khuzdar area. Militants murdered five members of a Baloch laborer's family, including one woman and three children. This barbaric attack on innocent civilians has sparked intense public outrage.

According to intelligence reports, the attacks were orchestrated by a group designated by the Pakistani government as "Fitna-al-Hindustan." Pakistani security officials alleged that during the operation, certain foreign media outlets and sections of social media provided direct promotional support to the militant group, which they claim further clarifies the nexus between these groups and certain external quarters.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the successful operation and paid deep tribute to the martyred soldiers, vowing that the fight will continue until terrorism is completely eradicated from Pakistan. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan also saluted the bravery of the troops, reiterating that there would be no compromise on the country's sovereignty.

Currently, military forces are continuing intensive "combing operations" via land and air to apprehend fleeing militants and ensure the region is cleared of terrorist elements.
