According to a report by Reuters, passengers purchasing new tickets starting Monday (January 26) will be eligible to cancel their bookings without incurring additional fees. In an effort to provide peace of mind, travelers are also being offered vouchers for future travel as an alternative to cancellations.

Airline Policies & Readiness: The national carrier, El Al, stated that for tickets purchased within the next two weeks, cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before departure at no cost. Similar measures have been adopted by Israir and Arkia. Oz Berlowitz, CEO of Arkia, highlighted that their experience over the past two years has prepared them for such crises. While many foreign airlines might suspend service to Tel Aviv during such tensions, Israeli carriers remain committed to maintaining their schedules and adding extra flights if necessary to ensure national connectivity.
