"I hope they find a path other than conflict," Fidan stated. "But the reality is that Israel is waiting for a specific opportunity to attack Iran." When asked if the United States was seeking a similar opening, he pointed specifically toward Israel's intent. Referring to his recent visit to Tehran, he added, "As a friend, I have informed Iran of this danger, because true friends speak the bitter truth."

The warning comes as diplomatic tensions surge. On Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Erdoğan reaffirmed Turkey’s firm stance against any foreign intervention that threatens the peace of Iran or the neighboring region.

Further fueling the tension, U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that a "massive armada" is currently moving toward Iran. Trump’s remarks have reignited fears of a direct U.S. military confrontation with Tehran.

In response, a senior Iranian official told Reuters that any level of attack on Iranian soil would be treated as "all-out war." The official emphasized that Iranian forces are ready with their "fingers on the trigger" to launch a severe counter-offensive.
