A U.S. Navy Carrier Strike Group, centered around the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, has already departed the South China Sea. In addition to the aircraft carrier, this strike group includes several warships, destroyers, frigates, and submarines. According to relevant sources, the fleet is expected to reach the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) region within the next week.

The U.S. Central Command oversees 21 countries across the Middle East, Northeast Africa, and Central and South Asia. CENTCOM’s primary responsibility is to ensure the security of U.S. citizens, diplomatic missions, and military bases in this region.

According to analysts, the primary reason for this military deployment is the escalating tension between Iran and the United States. Recently, Washington has expressed concern over anti-government protests, violence, and the human rights situation in Iran. Simultaneously, the U.S. has signaled its intent to bolster military strength if necessary. As a precautionary measure, there are also reports of some U.S. troops and personnel being relocated from several bases in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, as tensions reach a fever pitch, it is reported that Iran has closed certain airspace for its commercial aircraft. Observers believe this further increases the risk of military conflict. In this situation, while the international community calls for a diplomatic solution, concerns over the security situation in the Middle East continue to grow.
