Actor Parambrata Chatterjee Joins TMC Campaign Trail

Although he is not contesting as a candidate, Parambrata made his political stance clear by joining a massive rally in support of TMC candidate Ujjwal Biswas for the Krishnanagar South constituency. The event, held at Chak Dignagar High School ground, also featured actress and Member of Parliament June Maliah.

Addressing the crowd, Parambrata marked this campaign as the formal beginning of his political journey. He emphasized that this election is not merely a contest for power but a struggle to protect cultural identity and self-respect. He also spoke out against attempts to tarnish the state's image regarding women's safety. Expressing concern over recent voter list controversies, he urged citizens to protest democratically against any harassment of valid voters. Despite his busy professional schedule, the actor committed to supporting the TMC for the greater interest of the state.
