On Saturday night (February 28), she shared her terrifying ordeal with fans through an emotional post on Facebook. Although Faria was scheduled to fly from Istanbul to Dubai, the closure of Dubai’s airspace due to the war left her stranded. Ultimately, she was forced to book a flight back to Dhaka.
In a shared photo, the actress was seen sitting despondently in the airport lounge with her passport and boarding pass, while international news of the war played on the television screens behind her. Comparing the experience to a "nightmare," Faria stated that she was stunned to wake up to news of war and the announcement of airspace closures. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, she expressed gratitude to her friends and their families in Istanbul who stood by her to ensure her safety during the crisis. Currently on a flight headed for Dhaka, the actress offered prayers for world peace, expressing her deep hope for the world to return to tranquility soon.
