Following a decline in the price of pure gold (Tejabi gold) in the local market, the price of high-quality 22-carat gold has been slashed by Tk 3,266 per bhori.

Under the revised rates, 22-carat gold is now priced at Tk 2,46,927 per bhori (11.664 grams). The price of 21-carat gold has been reduced to Tk 2,35,671, while 18-carat gold will cost Tk 2,02,020 per bhori. Gold sold under the traditional method has been fixed at Tk 1,64,521 per bhori.

BAJUS also announced a decrease in silver prices. The price of 22-carat silver has been cut by Tk 350, bringing it to Tk 5,715 per bhori. This latest adjustment marks the 56th time gold prices have been revised in 2026, reflecting the high volatility in the local and international bullion markets.

Consumers are reminded that a mandatory 5% government VAT and a minimum 6% making charge (wages) will be added to these base prices at the time of purchase.
