Capital Market Turnover Crosses Tk 1,000 Crore Mark on Week's Opening Day
On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the combined turnover of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) exceeded Tk 1,006 crore. Market analysts believe this positive trend has rekindled confidence and interest among investors.
Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) Highlights
Market analysis showed that the DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose by 17 points to settle at 5,316. While the Shariah Index saw a marginal dip of 1 point, the DS30 index, which comprises blue-chip companies, gained 11 points to reach 2,026.
